ALOHA! : Bid Farewell to English Tutor 2019

The Hawaiian word “Aloha” has been used widely in the world for its unique meaning, that is hello and goodbye. And “Aloha” is just the right word to embody the journey of English Tutor 2019 (ET) which is finally reaching its destination.

Taken place at Anggrek Campus on March 14, 2020, 38 ET were gathered to bid farewell to each other for they have committed to accomplish their duty for almost a year. As the ET 2019 has come to an end, the farewell gathering was held to give appreciation of the hard work the ET did during the EESE session. In addition, this event was made as a forum for feedback in order to improve the EESE program for the better in the next period.

Led by Richard and Ryo as the Master of Ceremony (MC), ET were having so much fun with the games they played and sharing session they had to share their ups and downs experience as an ET. The event was completed with the announcement of “Best Tutors” from each campus, for their outstanding performance and dedication. The awardees are Aditya and Satria (from Bekasi), Michelle and Daniel (from Alam Sutera), and Rizky and Albert (from Kemanggisan).

All ET also got a chance to share their thought about being an ET through Padlet platform. Most of the response considered ET as a fun, memorable, amazing, and unforgettable experience. One note for the next ET,said an ET, was that the materials could be transformed so that it will be stay up-to-date with the current needs and also fun to teach and learn.

The gathering ends perfectly with a dinner and some photo sessions with beach-themed props. Aloha!
