BIPA BINUS Meets Bournemouth University, UK

Bournemouth         Scholars in BIPA     BINUS Program

 

Jakarta. On June 6th, 2018, Language Center in collaboration with BINUS Business School hosted BIPA Program. In this occasion, 10 scholars of Bournemouth University-UK experienced and learned Angklung in BINUS FX-Campus.

Introduction to        Angklung History

Mr.Kristian, Language Center BINUS University representative, conducted the Angklung session. In his remarks, Mr.Kris introduced the percussion instrument and its history. To enliven the event, Mr.Kris and The UK Scholars performed 2 Indonesian Folk Songs, namely Naik-naik ke Puncak Gunung and Burung Kakak Tua.

Team’s                       Performance

In this performance, the scholars are offered with authentic pleasurable experience. At that special excitement, Mr.Kris explained the values of playing Angklung, i.e. the teamwork, respect, and harmony.
